In a desolate world, countless zombies pour into the last survivor's home. Tap, swipe, and shake your phone to slay the oncoming horde!

Surrounded is a top-down endless roguelike where you must kill endless waves of zombies before they reach the survivor. Players can earn new weapons and purchase unique perks using blood from slain zombies.

My Contributions

  • Developed a weapons system that uses screen tapping, screen swiping, and phone shaking.

  • Created an equipment system that lets the player enhance their attacks.

  • Implemented a robust status effects system to facilitate a variety of buffs and debuffs.

  • Created a modular base zombie that all zombie types are made from.​​

  • Developed an optimized zombie manager to handle large hordes without stuttering on mobile devices.

  • Created a dynamic zombie animator to properly represent their current actions.

  • ​Developed a reward system for players based on performance.

  • Created a Lootbox system that dispenses random perks with varying levels.

  • Implemented a JSON-based save and load system for progress persistence.
